OUR MISSION
Karate-Do Shito-Kai U.S.A. Murayama is to continue the
teachings of Mabuni, Kenwa Soke
and
Iwata, Manzo Hanshi. Having the responsibilities of various countries, Murayama, Kunio Shihan
is the
America's Senior Director of these regions. These regions include Mexico,
Guatemala, Central America,
Canada and the United States of America (U.S.A.). We also;
- Provide instruction in Traditional Shito-ryu as a core curriculum,
maintaining excellence in
standards.
- Promote personal health: physical fitness, and emotional and
spiritual maturity without
advocating specific religious
affiliations.
- Offer martial arts, fitness and wellness classes and
activities which complement the positive
attitude,
respectfulness, and work ethic of the Shito-Kai organization,
and which aid in
supporting the Shito-ryu program.
- Give a high priority to customer service by showing equal
attention to each student's training,
concern for individual
accommodation, when possible, and encourage family involvement
- Organize extracurricular activities which demonstrate the
WSKF philosophy. And to provide
Yudansha mentors, bringing up tomorrow's Black belts with positive attitudes
and a true
sense and understanding of Budo.
