RYUKYU KOBUDO GRADING 2011
Profile of
Mr. Wayne Eitel
WORLD
SHITORYU KARATEDO FEDERATION
4th Dan
I started my martial arts training in 1972 with
Sensei Katsuji Saito in San Francisco, CA .
Received my 1st degree black belt from him in late 1975. Began training
in 1984 with Sensei
Toshihiro Oshiro in Redwood City, CA and received a Shodan ho from him
in 1990 in Matsubayashi
Ryu. Moved to Phoenix , AZ in 1992 and began training with my "teacher
for life", Sensei T. Rabino
in SHITORYU. I was fortunate to find a Sensei whose knowledge of the
martial arts, and an ability
to teach, have kept me involved for almost 20 years. The last five years
I have increased my training
to include the use of Okinawan weapons and recently passed my test for
Yudansha in Kobudo. I would
like to thank Sensei Rabino for his help and constant guidance in being
able to pass this test and
furthering my understanding of the martial arts in general.
Respectfully, Wayne Eitel
Sempai Eitel has been a great asset to the group by mentoring new
students and spending time
sharing his knowledge in Budo. By furthering his accomplishment in
completing his Shodan test he
is continuing his 2nd path, Omedeto - T.Rabino (Murayama U.S.A.

COPA MURAYAMA 2010
The tournament
schedule was to start on Saturday morning (Kata), and Sunday
(Kumite/Free Sparring) events. Friday kicked off with
meeting old international friends, and 0900am with seminars.
Two main presenters were Shihan K. Murayama, and Shihan G.
Iwata. Jo-
Jutsu of the Daien-ryu (Kihon's & Waza) taught by Murayama
Shihan, and Annanko, Matsumura Seisan taught by Iwata Shihan.
This was
task for many, but when the White Crane forms and applications
(bunkai) this was a task!
This event lasted for 8-9 hours, with continuous training and
spirit from everyone. Later instructor training, and training
at Shihan's dojo
was overwhelming. Iwata, Genzo Shihan was principles of
training and methods of Shito-ryu as taught by his father
Iwata, Manzo Shihan.

The U.S.A. competitors, took home 7
Bronze and 1 Gold Medal - Omedeto to all! We had a great
time, no one got hurt
which is the most important factor but
the country (Mexico) was as always a good experience. Rabino,T
Sensei conducted an
interview with Iwata, Genzo Shihan for
Master's Magazine which we are currently
working on. Sara Rabino (interpreter) Linda Lim
(Photographer), Sensei Sam Moledzki (Movie/Film/Camera Man)
Great job by all. More to come -
